Clinical Supervision

Board-Approved Clinical Supervision

Supporting the Next Generation of Clinicians

I provide Board-approved clinical supervision for graduate counseling students, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), and clinicians pursuing LPCC licensure in Minnesota.

Supervision is designed to support professional development, clinical skill-building, professional confidence, ethical practice, and integration of evidence-based approaches.

Who I Provide Supervision For

Graduate Counseling Students

Develop clinical skills, integrate theory with practice, and build confidence in the counseling relationship.

Professional Counselors

Strengthen clinical judgment, assessment, case conceptualization, documentation, interventions, and professional identity.

Clinicians Pursuing LPC/LPCC Licensure

Develop the clinical competence and professional skills needed for independent practice while addressing applicable supervision and licensure requirements.

My Supervision Philosophy

Collaboration. Curiosity. Professional Growth.

I believe effective clinical supervision is built on collaboration, curiosity, and professional growth.

Just as therapy creates a safe environment for clients to learn and heal, supervision should provide emerging clinicians with a supportive space to develop confidence, strengthen clinical judgment, and refine their professional identity.

My role as a supervisor is to challenge and encourage you while fostering self-reflection, ethical decision-making, evidence-based practice, and cultural humility.

I view supervision as more than meeting licensure requirements. It is an opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become an effective, compassionate clinician.

What You Can Expect

Supervision will be:

Supportive | Collaborative | Practical | Growth-Oriented

We’ll review cases, discuss interventions, explore challenges, strengthen clinical reasoning, celebrate growth, and identify opportunities for continued professional development.

You can expect supervision to focus on:

Whole-Person Supervision

Mind. Body. Spirit. Context.

My approach to supervision is grounded in the same whole-person philosophy that guides my clinical work.

I encourage supervisees to consider biological, psychological, social, cultural, developmental, and spiritual dimensions when relevant to a client’s experience and worldview.

This broader perspective can help clinicians move beyond symptom-focused thinking and develop thoughtful, evidence-based, person-centered conceptualizations.

The goal is not to impose a particular belief system, but to help clinicians thoughtfully understand and respect the whole person.

Grow as a Clinician

Clinical supervision is an opportunity to strengthen your skills, deepen your clinical reasoning, and develop confidence in your professional identity.
